GET STARTED NOWWhat is a Good News Club?
Good News Club is a Christian club for elementary aged boys and girls. Good News Clubs can meet in neighborhoods, Boys and Girls Clubs, YMCAs, civic centers, churches, parks, pre-schools, daycare centers….just about anywhere there are children.
Changing Lives!
Weekly over 2.000+ children in this region are making the choice to attend Good News Club. They enjoy 90 minutes of high energy fun, power packed teaching from God’s Word along with energetic songs, games, and engaging activities. Children are learning from the Word of God a truth that is relevant to their lives today, and making choices to choose God’s way! The impact of Good News Club on the lives of these children is being used to mold and shape their lives. These same children will take this message of hope into the future when we no longer can, and…that is why we do what we do, for as long as we can. Good News Club is changing lives!
The Bible… In Public Schools?
Yes! Good News Clubs can now meet in public elementary schools, after school hours on the same terms as community groups. This became possible when the Supreme Court ruled in 2001 in “Good News vs. Milford School District”. CEF® respects the parent’s right to decide if their child should attend. Therefore, signed parental permission is required, and parents or guardians provide transportation home. .Public School Good News Clubs are an asset to schools and do not add any cost or liability to the school district.
Church Partnership
CEF Heartland is a mission organization not a church. We realize partnership with the local church is vital in impacting this generation of children to know and love God. Churches in local communities throughout this region that desire to become partners… choose a school where they desire to invest time into the lives of the children. CEF facilitates a 3-way partnership between CEF, the Church, and the School. CEF provides specialized training and does background screenings on each volunteer.

What Is Taught At A Good News Club?
Each week a team of trained volunteers lead the children in a variety of club activities. This includes snacks, presenting an exciting Bible lesson, fun skits, engaging small group activities, songs, scripture memory, a cliff hanger missions story and fun review games. Kids also enjoy themed Party Club events, unit review parties, special guest, small group activities. The CEF curriculum methodically using biblical principles to teach moral values, character qualities, and respect to authority to elementary-aged children.
Recently a Good News Club teacher was sharing with the children how God created them, and loves them with an endless love because they are worth everything to him! A child, hearing this truth for the first time, shouted out, “Not me! He can’t love me like that; I am worthless! That’s a lie…nobody could love me like that!”
Who Teaches In A Good News Club?
Good News Clubs are taught by concerned Christians who desire to make a difference in lives of the boys and girls in their communities. Each volunteer receive specialized training from Child Evangelism Fellowship®. All workers have been carefully screened as required by CEF®’s Child Protection Policy.

“A child is a person who is going to carry on what you have started. He will assume control of your cities, states, and nations. He is going to move in and take over your churches, schools, universities and corporations. The fate of humanity is in his hands.”
– Abraham Lincoln
