Teaching Children Effectively ™ Level 1 (TCE)
Level 1 – An innovative 30-hour course designed to equip local church members with a fresh approach to evangelizing and teaching today’s child.
A practical learning experience designed to equip students with basic skills and effective methods to evangelize children and immediately begin a neighborhood or public school outreach ministry. Emphasis is placed on organizing and conducting meaningful classroom activities which can enrich children spiritually. In addition to regular course work, students are required to participate in teaching five children’s classes applying the methods learned in the course.

In addition, three required practicum sessions conducted during the course provide each student with evaluated experience in applying the theory taught.

Good News Club Conference
Good News Club Ministry Conference is a required training offerd annually. The Good News Club is CEF’s primary outreach ministry to children. The GNC runs throughout the school year, September – April. CEF’s training conferences kick off in August and September and continue throughout the school year for volunteers.
All volunteers in the GNC are required to fill out a background check, sign the doctrinal protection policy and participate in the one day training.
The GNC Training Conference is a required one day training for the volunteers in the GNC.
Leadership Lunch and Learn
Enrichment trainings open to everyone involved in Good News Club. This training is a gathering of creative ideas, leadership and ministry development, outreach planning, fellowship, prayer, and trading of helpful information. Includes drawings, give-aways, and connection with others involved in clubs.
